1. It is not a dried fruit

Many think that cachuate is a dried fruit, just like walnuts. But it actually belongs to the group of legumes. Peanuts, compared to walnuts, do not hang from trees, they grow from the ground, like beans and lentils.

2. They are more nutritious than almonds

Although we have always heard that almonds are wonderful, eating peanuts is much healthier, as they contain more protein than almonds.

  • Niacin (vitamin B3): reduces the risk of heart disease.
  • Thiamine (vitamin B1): it is essential for the proper functioning of the muscles, the heart, and the nervous system.
  • Phosphorus: it is the second most abundant mineral in the body. It is present in every cell of the body, it favors the regeneration of body tissue. In addition, most of the phosphorus in the body is found in the teeth and bones.
  • Biotin and Folate (folic acid): both vitamins are very important during pregnancy, as they prevent deformations in the fetus.
  • Antioxidants: these help keep memory always active.
